This beautiful old cottage had an existing split level addition that had been done in the 80’s, it was tired and needed a rethink to make it work for the current family and their needs.
Removing walls to open the space up and re designing the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry meant they now have a fresh, light, open living space the opens out to the backyard,. Knocking down walls and redesigning the space meant a much needed home office could be included in the new layout.
The original parquetry floors were repaired and refinished and I think look amazing against the clients choice of kitchen.
